Social service agency or school personnel may refer a child or young adult for our care package program using our online request form.

Our clothing sizes begin at youth size small (5) and also include all adult/junior sizes for both boys and young men and girls and young women, including extended sizes. We also offer new socks, underwear, blankets, and toiletry items. We also have school supplies, books, and toys.

Our facility is open for registered clients and donors every Thursday from 4-8.

*Note that we have temporarily suspended in-person shopping until Feb. 24th. Social workers or other referring agents are encouraged to submit a care package request for their clients who need clothing assistance during this period. We will continue to be open each Thursday from 4-8 pm for donation drop-off and care package pick-up during this period. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Our Story

QC Closet2Closet is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that was developed by a Quad Cities family that was built, in part, through the adoption of preteen foster children. Through their experience, this family became intimately aware of specific challenges that some youth in foster care face. They decided to develop a program to raise awareness and directly address some of these challenges. We have expanded our scope to provide wardrobe assistance for homeless youth and others who have extenuating circumstances.

We offer free all-season clothing, accessories, and hygiene items and other surprises for our clients. We offer a popular care package option for children who are not able to attend our shopping hours on each Thursday from 4-8 pm.
